Day 7: We arrived from Cappadocia about 8.30am and went straight to our accommodation, Hostel Mavi Onur, also at Sultanahmet but a different area of Sultanahmet compared to the previous accommodation. Since we can’t check in yet, we freshen up and left our bags before heading out again.  We walked around Sultanahmet Square and head to Spice Bazaar for some shopping. We noticed that the shops around the Spice Bazaar sell the items cheaper compared to shops inside the bazaar. After a few hours of shopping, we went back to our hostel to check in, pray, and head out again in the afternoon for Bhosphorus River Cruise. The cruise cost 12TL and it lasted for 1 hour and a half. The cruise along the Bhosphorus went all the way till Bhosphorus Bridge, the bridge that connects two continents together (Asia and Europ e).  Back in Sultanahmet Square Ready for our tour Bhosphorus Bridge, connecting two continents. Europe on the left and Asia on the right Maiden Tower Lighthouse

The bus stopped a few times along the way and the bus even had an entertainment system for every passenger at the back of each seat. You also get a bottle of water and a sliced cake. It’s good enough right for a bus journey. I know it was better than the bus in Mala ysia.  The bus with entertainment system We arrived at Goreme at 8am in the morning. We went to our accommodation; Yasin’s Place Cave Hotel, freshened up in the common toilet (as we can only check in after 1pm) and left our bags at the hotel. Then we head out to Goreme Open Air Museum, which was about 1.2km away from our hotel. The entrance fee to this place is 15TL. The cistern is surrounded by a 4m thick firebrick wall coated with special mortar for insulation against water. The cistern’s water was provided from the Belgrade Woods, 19km north of Istanbul via aqueducts built by Emperor Justinianus. This was not included in the Museum pass so we had to pay 10TL for the entrance fee.  Basilica Cistern The 2 medusa heads in the cistern. After that, we walked to Galata Bridge which is a bridge that spans the Golden Horn, stopping at Spice Bazaar and New Mosque on the way. Spice Bazaar is one of the largest bazaars in Istanbul and the second largest covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar. You can find baklava, Turkish delights, spices, various flavors of tea and nuts, and even souvenirs at the Spice Bazaar. There also an uphill road behind
