Salam to all, It's been awhile since I've updated this blog. I was a bit occupied during the fasting month hence the lack of update for the past month. Well, it's already the month of Syawal where muslims around the world celebrates Eid Mubarak after a month of fasting. Talking about Eid, my Eid holiday is coming to an end and I'll be heading back to KL tomorrow. So this will be the last night I'll be spending at my grandparents house. When you talk about Eid in Malaysia, the first thing that comes to people's mind is ketupat and rendang (the famous dishes during Eid in Malaysia). These are usually the main dishes that are served during Eid. When I was a kid, I always wonder why my family never served these dishes during Eid even though they are mentioned in most Malay Eid songs. Just got off the phone with my sister who's sitting for her SPM examination in Muar. It was nice talking to her as it has been ages since we gossiped this much. Banyak betul buku yang nak baca sebelum balik Aussie ni. Hari tu dah bawa balik buku dari sana sebab nak kosongkan almari kat sana, tengok2 bawa buku baru plak ke sana. Jadi tak ada perubahan pun pada almari tu nanti. Dari balik Msia hari tu abah kata dia nak tengok movie ‘Ketika Cinta Bertasbih’, cari kat youtube tak ada lagi padahal kat Indo dah keluar dari Jun lagi. Ni gara2 tengok Ayat-ayat Cinta last year la ni, bila dia tahu ada cerita lain dari penulis nak sama dia pun nak tengok. Seminggu sebelum aku ke UK hari tu angah ada download cerita tu tapi aku tak sempat tengok. Bila dah balik ni mak kata dah 3 kali dia tangok movie tu. Kalau mak yang tak suka tengok movie pun dah tengok 3 kali, mesti best cerita ni. Sabtu hari tu pergi MPH kat SACC, sebab una nak cari buku sekolah dia. Tetiba Nampak abah usha novel ‘Ketika Cinta Bertasbih’ (fanatic sungguh ayahku dengan cerita ni) yang combine vol.1 and 2 and hardcover, tapi bila tengok harga, mak aih..mahalnya. Tak jadi nak b...

Yesterday I got a call from home. I was praying the phone rang so I can't pick it up. I know it's someone from home as no number appear on the missed call list. That got me worried as it was around 7.30pm Malaysia time. Who would call at a time like that I know that my family won't call me because I'm the one who usually call home. Something must have happen that got them to call me at that time, that what I was thinking inside my head. When I call my home back in Malaysia, my sis picked up the phone. She sounded ok, like nothing bad has happened. Then I talked to my dad, then I know that they are worried about me as they haven't heard from me for nearly 3 weeks. They are worried that something happened to me (and I was worried that something had happened to them..hehe). Plus, I forgot to reply my mum's text the previous day which makes things worst. I feel like such a bad daughter for not checking up on them every week like I usually do. It's just ...

What I'll be writing in this post is just some things that I did during my two weeks holiday. RAYA Well this is the highlight of the holiday of couse. 12 days of precious time spend with family in Malaysia is just marvelous. For those who have been away from home for and haven't seen their family for quite a while will know this kind of feeling. It's really hard for me to explain it in words. It felt so good to be with your loved ones especially since the extended family are all gathered together. Even my 'aunt' who is in japan is back home for raya. It was a short trip back home. As it was short, an evil thought came across my mind on the last day at home. I wish I could just stop studying in Brisbane and stay at home with my loved ones. I do not want to come back to Brisbane and for the first time, I was close to tears at the airport on my way back. But then I comforted myself by saying that I will be back again in 2 months time so for the time being just be...

Just about 28 hours ago my family went back to Malaysia after spending 3 weeks here in Australia. It was the best 3 weeks of my life spending time with them here, being their tourist guide and host. To them its a holiday but for me, it was the perfect birthday gift even though I still got birthday presents from both mak and abah. Well, they are now settling back at home, unpacking and resting before the work and school period starts again in a week time. Lots of things happen in the last 3 weeks. First time celebrating raya haji in Aussie and with my family by my side except abah who celebrated in alone in Malaysia. After raya, we went to Sydney (again without abah as he was still in Malaysia due to work commitments) for 5 days. Thanks to Hanafi who helped us with the accom or else we would have been homeless..hehehe. It's been 24 hours since I arrived home..It is such a good feeling to be with my family. God, how I missed them so much. I know I'm only back for a short period of time. Therefore, Im gonna make the most out of it. A lot of things have happen for the last 7 months that I was away. Hasif-ape kes??hehe Hajar-ape jd ngan ur face??stress sgt ker?? I just cant wait for 25th September to come..Cepatla, seriously tak sabar.. Sorry cant say it out loud what it is or i'll ruin the surprise. Hopefully whatever I have planned will go on smoothly. For the time being need to get things done before that date and it will be a busy month this September. Come on Huda. you can do this just need to stop fooling around and wasting time.

I'm sooooooooo happy today. Despite of my experiment that didn't go well and really screwed result. I'm just sooo happy. My mum text me this morning and told me that the whole family is coming over this December for holiday and they're staying for a month here.I'm just so excited. Can't wait to take them around Brissy and Qld. Hopefully if there's cheap ticket to Sydney, I'll be bringing them down there to see the Opera House too. Though my dad will only be here for a week but that didn't matter. The best thing is that they will be celebrating raya haji kat sini. Mum want to stay until boxing day but my sis PMR result will be released after Xmas and my bro needs to get back to uni after Xmas as well. It doesn't matter as long as they will be coming here.. I'm so happy that I'm running out of words..Luv u guys. Cant wait for December.
