The best birthday present ever~

I turned another year older yesterday. Thank you for those who remembered it and wished me either through text message, call, facebook and twitter. I really appreciated it.  The day before yesterday, I got an email saying that the results were out and we can collected it at the Biotech office. Actually I hesitated to get it on the same day but I was anxious to know my result so I decided to go to uni and just get it. When I got my bundle of proposal, PDP and thesis documents; I looked for the first sheet of paper after the cover page. I scrolled down the page slowly and looked at my marks. My heart was beating really fast that time and in my mind I was thinking 'Oh no, I'm screwed'. But when I looked at the bottom of the page it read Class I. At that time without knowing it my tears started to fall down, I felt so relieved. All the hard work for this one whole year had finally paid off. Japan: Transport and Accommodation

This is an additional post on Japan that I'll share my experience with the transport system there and the places that I stayed while I was there. Personally, I think the best way to travel around Japan is using the Japan Rail Pass, this is only if you want to cover a lot of places. It would be a waste of money of you're only planning to go to Osaka or Tokyo only. But if plan to cover a lot of places in a short time, I would really recommend this Japan Rail Pass. The rail pass comes in three packages; 7 days, 14 days or 21 days, The price depends on the number of days that you want to purchase. The more days it's valid for, the higher the price (common sense right?). I bought the 14 days rail pass as I'll be in Japan for 16 days. The days that I didn't use the ticket, I bought the normal ticket, which was a bit expensive. For example, it costs me ¥2000 (about AUD20) from Osaka Airport to Kyoto.  The ticket from Osaka Aiport to Kyoto (front and back) Tick

We thought of going to Kobe but the weather was just too miserable to be going there. We then head to downtown Osaka which includes Umeda, the sky building. We didn’t go to the underground shopping mall as we’re not in the mood to shop, so we went to Shinsaibashi and Namba. There were just outlets, go there if you want to go shopping but as it was not our intention, we found it quite boring.  Umeda Sky Building. As seen on Fugitive Plan B (for those who watched it will know it). Umeda underground mall is located below the building which has the wheel Namba walk, Namba, Osaka Dotonbori St, Shinsaibashi, Osaka Shinsaibashi, Osaka Then, we went to check in our hotel and later we went Nipponbashi for dinner. We had sushi which was mostly raw fish. There were some boiled fish and that’s what we ate. It was very fresh and though I wa
