Juara Turtle Project and A day with the fishes
This post is a continuation of Searching for "Mermaid" in Tioman post yesterday. Once we had our lunch, we went to Juara Turtle Project (JTP), the place where my friend is working at. They do turtle conservation here and if anybody is interested, you can come here as a volunteer. Our ride to JTP Ciktie following closely from behind We're here We went around the JTP area and saw a blind green sea turtle, named Jo. Jo was born at JTP and was blind since birth. Since she cannot survive on her own in the wild, they kept her here in a pool. We also went around Kg Juara and saw a path heading towards a waterfall. Since it was already late afternoon, we did not go there. After spending a few hours at Kg Juara, we headed back to Kg Tekek. Around JTP Around Kg Juara Jo in a pool Jo transferred to a smaller pool during meal time Info on Jo Turtle hatchery area All caged up to prevent people from stealing the eggs Yes, we love Tioma
