This post is a continuation of Searching for "Mermaid" in Tioman
post yesterday.
Once we had our lunch, we went to Juara Turtle Project (JTP), the
place where my friend is working at. They do turtle conservation here and if
anybody is interested, you can come here as a volunteer.

We're here |
We went around the JTP area and saw a blind green sea
turtle, named Jo. Jo was born at JTP and was blind since birth. Since she
cannot survive on her own in the wild, they kept her here in a pool. We also
went around Kg Juara and saw a path heading towards a waterfall. Since it was
already late afternoon, we did not go there. After spending a few hours at Kg
Juara, we headed back to Kg Tekek.

The next day, myself and Fikah went out to the sea to
snorkel. It was a whole day trip where the guide took us to six snorkel areas
and it costs us RM80 including all the gears. It was my first snorkeling experience and I really enjoyed it. The sea was very clear and it
was like a completely new world under the sea. After experiencing the life
underwater, I really wanted to get a diving license to explore more of the
underwater world. I’ll put that on my bucket list.

After 8 hours of snorkelling, we came back to shore; change
and head to the jetty to catch our ferry back to Mersing. It was a brief trip.
I wish we were here longer so that we can explore more of the nature. However,
I will come back here again one day.
Till then~
