We were supposed to head back to London on the 11th. The flight was supposed to leave at 9.05pm but when we checked in our bags, the lady at the counter said that the flight was delayed for 2 hours as they expected the aircraft to arrive from London at 11.30pm. We were like, not again; another transportation problem. We were never lucky with transport all along and till the very end. Luckily they gave us refreshment coupons but it’s not that much. By the time we board the plane; all of us were really tired plus sleepy and dozed off even before the plane took off. Arriving in London, we were among the first to get off but when we got to the immigration counter they said that we need to fill in a landing card. WTH!! and by that time the line was really2 long as all of the passengers had got off the plane. By the time we settled everything it was already 2 in the morning. I'm on a spree of uploading my blog with my holiday details. I have limited access to internet so I will try to update as much as I can while I have it. After Cardiff, we head to London stopping at Bath, Stonehenge and Donnington Castle on the way. Nothing much going on since it was Christmas Day. The roads were very clear. We arrived in London around 4pm. We stopped at Windsor and took photo at Windsor Castle and Legoland before heading to Heathrow Airport to drop the car. Once we drop the car, it was already about 5.30pm. Then we got a cab from the airport and head to Whitechapel where we will be staying at one of the Queens Mary Uni student resident thanks to Faiz's friends. Hello all, I've arrived safely at Stansted Airport though the flight delayed for an hour an a half. We were scheduled to arrived at 10pm London time but due to the delay, we only landed at 11.30pm. Getting through the immigration and collected our luggage, by the time we came out to the arrival hall it was already 1am. So, we had to change our plan a bit. We were supposed to get our rental car upon arrival and drive up to Cambridge and spend the night there. Since we arrived too late and the shop already closed, we decided to wait at the airport for the rental to open for business. The weather here is freezing cold. Currently the temperature is about -3 degree. Trust me it is cold and the local time is about 3am. People are sleeping everywhere at the airport.
