Presenting Prezi

Image
Hello everyone, Are you always doing presentation and bored with PowerPoint? Well, there's a cool presentation software that I was introduced to called Prezi . It's an online presentation program that moves through a non-linear presentation on path as opposed to using slides. Its has better graphic and makes your presentation more interesting than the classic PowerPoint. Check the video below to know what it looks like: All you have to do is create a public account (or you can buy a pro account) and start Prezentin! The presentation is saved onto a cloud and you can access it anywhere as long as you have internet connection. Plus, it has a similar feature as Google Slide where multiple people can work on the presentation at the same time as long as they have a Prezi account.  Though the software has its limitation where you cannot create smart art. Besides that if you want to insert a picture, you cannot copy it from the source and paste it here. You have to save the...

5 Tips for Mountain Walking in Snowdonia

Image
Last weekend it was the early May bank holiday in the UK, so a few friends decided to head up to Snowdonia National Park for a 2 days 1 night trip. The main aim of the trip was to hike up the Snowdon mountain itself. For those of you who are not familiar with Snowdonia, it is actually on of the highest mountain in Wales with 1,085m above sea level. Here are my 5 tips for mountain walking in Snowdon.  1. Check time of visit . First and foremost, plan at what time of the year do you plan to come here. It is better to visit during between April to September; though I would suggest during the summer months. Also, ensure you have enough time to climb up and come back down before dark. The Llanberis path takes about 6 hours return trip. Plan your time! 2. Check the weather . Make sure you check the weather before you come here and ensure that the forecast only says sunny. Even if there's a chance of rain during the day; you will not see the beautiful view at the summit as it wil...

Playing Giada

Image
I've been playing Giada for the past few days. I don't know why, but I was in the mood to cook. Though it doesn't help that I'm eating alone. So I don't know what effect it has on my kgs. But, who cares; you've got to enjoy life while you can right? So what's been cooking in my kitchen? give your eye a feast..hahahaha *evil laugh* Fuel for body. My breakfast for champion Jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn filling. Recipe in this blog. Vegetarian japchae (korean glass noodle) Tortilla pizza from my nearly expired tortilla and I didn't want to make a wrap out of it. Crispy chicken nachos. You can hardly see the chicken underneath the tortilla chips. Fruit cocktail pudding. I didn't have any evaporated milk or colouring at home; so I used fresh milk instead to give some "colouring" to it Not in the pics: Bubur jagung and KFC style fried chicken.

Ola Barcelona: Day 2

Image
Second day of Barcelona. We initially wanted to go to Montserrat but we though it'll be too rushed if we go there; so we decided to stay in Barcelona instead as since we've already bought tickets for Sagrada Familia, we head there the first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, when we went outside; it rained. Since it rained, we can't go up the tower due to safety reason. For that, we exchanged our tower ticket for an audio guide for this place. If you ever plan to visit the Sagrada Familia, I would really recommend to get an audio guide. At least you'll learn something about the place. Sagrada Familia is Gaudi's unfinished work and not complete to this date. Even after 100 years, it is still not complete. The construction started in 1885 and expected to complete is 2026. Hopefully they'll get it done by then. This place is really spectacular. If anybody comes to Barcelona and don't know which one to go, I would really recommend this place; especially arc...

Ola Barcelona: Day 1

Image
Hello everyone! After resting and moving room, I'm here to write about my recent Easter Escapade at Spain and Portugal. So, I'll start with our first pit stop, Barcelona. We took the 8.15am flight from London Stansted and arrived at Barcelona around 11.30am local time. Spain's time is 1 hour ahead of London. Once we arrived at the airport, we took the train to Barcelona Central. If you're planning to use the public transport in Barcelona, I would recommend the 10 trip ticket. The ticket costs €9.95 (for zone 1) for 10 journeys and many people can use 1 ticket. So you can share the ticket with your travel companions. This is the most cost-effective way to go to city center as single ticket from the airport will cost you €4.10 to Barcelona Sants or Passeig de Garcia station (Barcelona Central). Snowy mountain tops. London -> Barcelona Barcelona at last! As our accommodation was near Sagrada Familia, we had to change at Passeig de Garcia and change to the p...
